Though it pours a rich golden color, this IPA doesn’t follow the golden rule when it comes to taste:

“Taste others the way you want to be tasted!” – some drunk dude speaking to his reflection in a foggy window while holding his beer up high.

If it does follow the golden rule, then it must have some pretty low self esteem because it just wasn’t that good. To us, the maltiness of the brew completely took away from the hoppy goodness we were expecting from a beer with ‘hop’ in its name. If given a choice, we’d hop on over to another IPA.

Despite our disagreement with this beer in particular, we maintain our steadfast respect for Sierra Nevada Brewing and the great beers (aside from this) that they make!
